~This is the story of our journey to adopt what was a waiting angel in Eastern Europe. Gabby has been home now for over a year and is the greatest blessing we have ever been given! Through our many tears of joy, hope, fear, determination, and anticipation shared during this experience.......we hope you will be inspired to take part in changing the life of another waiting angel/orphan~

~We Made It~

The picture above was taken flying out of Washington DC

This was taken about 15 to 20 minutes into the flight leaving from Washington to head to Germany. You can see us flying over the states and beginning the crossing of the Atlantic Ocean! Beautiful but scary!

My very happy but tired soon-to-be papa to my babies:) on our second flight!

Pictures of our studio apartment. It s very small but exactally what we needed and ask for. We will only be here a couple of more days before leaving for the region.

Some of the very unusual art work displayed in our apartment. Jason finds it to be beautiful LOL.

Yes, Ukraine has Lays! Notice the bottom left corners though. Lol They are yummy!
Look somewhat familiar ...... we recognized it so we had to get it haha

The chocolate here is amazing!
The bread is definitely different. It has no preserves so that is good in a healthy way and bad in a make it last way
The Cheese ... which is awesome by the way!!!
I want you to guess what this one is .... and the one below lol.

YAY! Some English!!! lol

Today's walk around the city ... short-lived due to the rain, but what we see was stunning!

St. Michael's Cathedral
The one on the right is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( i think, haha)

St. Sophia's Cathedral

A park / playground that we are going to try to take the kids to when we get them towards the end of the trip

St. Sophia's Cathedral

This is some type of weird art work on the wall outside coming to our apartment building

As you can see the city is beautiful !!!!! I have been trying to post this for a couple of days with no luck but here it is. I am going to try to post today's post now and hope I have better luck. The internet is much slower here than at home. Hope you enjoyed ... more to come.
