~This is the story of our journey to adopt what was a waiting angel in Eastern Europe. Gabby has been home now for over a year and is the greatest blessing we have ever been given! Through our many tears of joy, hope, fear, determination, and anticipation shared during this experience.......we hope you will be inspired to take part in changing the life of another waiting angel/orphan~

~Day 6 of the 10 day wait is complete~

We are now more than half way finished with the mandatory 10 day wait period!  Hopefully these next 4 days will go by very quickly and then we can start paperchasing and doing all of the necessary paperwork and traveling for returning home.  Today is halloween (which is not celebrated in Ukraine) and I would have loved to take our sweety trick-r-treating with her little cousins but at least we got to be together today...and P.S. we slipped her extra chocolate too...hehe.  She was as adorable as ever today and she is getting more rowdy with each visit.  She is one spunky little booger and we are soooo happy we got her as a baby instead of an older toddler because I am loving seeing all of her little "firsts."  I can't wait until I see her taking those first steps on her own!  She is already pulling up on everything she can reach so it shouldn't be long!  New announcement:  this girl LOVES spaghetti!!!!  Seriously, she adores it, haha. She cried when it was all gone.  Now I know to take lots of spaghetti when I fix it here :)
