~Beyond Excited~

First of all let me start out by saying...an update on Gabby is coming later this evening :)

Now for some Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful news.....

I'm sure you all remember the sweet little face of Roman, the little boy we initially set out to adopt with Gabby, and that we were going to name "Gavin." You also know the reasons we did not decide to adopt both children.  Well, as I told you in previously...the orphanage director and staff had ensured us we were doing the right thing and said he would definitely be adopted by another family because he didn't have down syndrome....sad I know, but true.  Well....it has happened! A family has committed to adopting Roman and they are in Ukraine with him as we speak, finalizing his adoption!!!!! We are so excited that his family came for him only weeks after us leaving!  There was a reason for us meeting and getting to know little Roman, although I am not totally sure of the reason..but he will always hold a special place in our hearts.  Hopefully, we will be able to keep up with him through out the years and his progress.  For now, knowing he has a family of his very own is enough for us!!!!!!!
